San Antonio Club Update


Yes, Player's San Antonio will be open this weekend, both Friday & Saturday Nights! But it will be a very special weekend that you won't want to miss!

We also want you to get a free peak at the new club. There are still things unfinished and the club may look a little rough in places, Like no carpet yet... Missing mirrors on the stage, etc.. But we want to start to get the bugs out and if you have any ideas or suggestions, we would love to hear those as well. To open a 10,000 sq ft night club in less than two weeks is a feat in itself so things are still a little rough so bear with us...


We've already spent over $12,000 of our own funds on the remodel and we still need funds to finish the construction, so this weekend will also work as a fund raiser. While there is no door fee we will ge glad to accept donations! So, if you want to drop a little something off for the cause that's up to you or if you want to just come in on a free party, that's fine too! It's your choice.

As always, doors open at 9PM and it's BYOB!

While Las Vegas performer Danny Gans had quite a lucrative contract following Steve Wynn around the Strip and was able to buy all sorts of vintage automobiles, it's a bummer that he can't be toolin' around the streets of wherever he ended up in that sweet '34 Ford 3-window coupe (left).

But you can, if you've got the cash, as the ZZ Top "Eliminator" car--and nine others--are heading to the annual Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction here in Las Vegas in a couple of weeks (along with the usual offerings of a multitude of jaw-dropping and perhaps even tear-jerking classic cars).

As I look at the pictures of Demi Moore (Age 47) sitting on Ashton Kushner's lap (left) at the Palms last week, I can't help recall some of my own older woman/younger man experiences (see below) and smile, thinking of what a lucky (relatively) young man ol' Ashton (32) is.

While Demi may not be the best of actresses, in my humble opinion she does have a killer body. I've always liked her attitude for fun so that gives her a few extra points, too. For example, when she told Regis and Kelly earlier this year that she credits her youthful experience to 'lots of sex', well, ya gotta love it as a lifestyler (and wish both of them would attend the next ALL swing party). Additionally, when the pair was preparing for a wedding last year Kutcher tweeted a picture of Demi bending over in a bikini with the text of "'Watching my wife steam my suit while wearing a bikini...I love God.' Gotta love that.

She admits to having a little help in a couple areas of her body but much of what she has is simply being blessed with a good set of genes. She looked damn good in the 1996 sorta-classic "StripTease" (here's a composite video of all her dance scenes in the movie) and then she buffed up for a rather forgettable "G.I. Jane" (other than her buffness and hair cut). Hey, so what if the movie sucked, she hits the gym and ya gotta respect that.

So when I look at her at dancing around the Palms stage with Snoop Dogg (the video is at the bottom of the page) it takes me back to when I was a young whippersnapper--albeit a lot younger than Kutcher--and an older woman (not quite as hot as Ms. Moore), took me under her legs, er, I mean wings, and taught me the tricks of the trade.

Ah, but zee plane! zee plane! is just the first step in a master plan that, if approved by the County Commission (zoning laws and all), will ultimately bring us something called "Graceland West", a theme park where Mr. Las Vegas himself is the theme.

If all goes according to plan, you should be able to tour the Wayner's mansion, check out his Arabian horses and other exotic animals, test-drive his extensive car collection (ok, maybe not drive but ogle, for sure), and possibly even get married on the estate as there's word he's building a wedding hall.

Of course, the neighbors aren't cool with the idea and if the plane isn't reclassified as something other than just a plane (like a tourist attraction, for example) Newton will begin to accumulate some pretty hefty fines if he doesn't move the thing.

The Wayner had spent some $700,000 in fixing up the plane and then just let it sit and rot for three years. Supposedly the thing is loaded with ugly, health-threatening black mold, making the plane virtually unusable. Newton must be using the cash he got from his recent show at the Tropicana--or maybe he got an advance from the MGM for an upcoming show--to not only pay off the hangar fees but to disassemble the jet and move it down to his property here in Las Vegas (and then reassemble).

Most of you who aren't filthy rich like Wayne and me (well, Newton was rich at one time) wouldn't even consider putting your plane on your own property because A) you don't have room on your property and B) you don't have a plane of your own to begin with. See, us rich folks are different than y'all.

Anyway, from the looks of the photo in TMZ the plane appears to be parked along Sunset Road in the north-western part of what he calls Casa de Shenandoah (click on the map, right, for an enlarged view of the massive estate--if we're wrong on the specific location, let us know). The article also says that Newton paid off his former pilot who sued the singer for about $500,000 in unpaid wages last year so it sounds like the Midnight Idol is looking less and less like a deadbeat all the time.

No word if Newton has paid off the $3 million owed to Las Vegas Motor Speedway owner, Bruton Smith. Maybe if ya fix up the plane, Wayne, you can give the li'l Fokker to Smith to settle things up...

It would certainly call for a celebration, right? So, who better to celebrate with than full-time party girl--and new Waits girlfriend--Paris Hilton. Works for me, I suppose.

Unfortunately, it didn't work for Waits.

A Strip motorcycle cop just outside of Wynn Resort--where Waits and Hilton were celebrating--smelled marijuana smoke and thought it was coming from a nearby Cadillac Escalade. The cop pulled the vehicle over, and, of course a crowd started to develop once they figured out it was Hilton standing there so she asked if they go all go inside the Wynn for a bit more privacy. She also reached into her purse to grab some lip balm and when she pulled out the tube, lo and behold, a small baggie of cocaine came out at the same time. Oy vey!

Paris, we're ashamed of you! Not for having the coke in the first place as we pretty much expect that out of you but you are a professional party girl and you're supposed to be more experienced at this sort of thing. Such a total party foul! And it was only around 11:30 in the evening so it's not like she was so messed up already she was a stumbling, bumbling wreck. The two were headed back to Waits house to kick the party into high gear, we presume (or possibly to change into different club wear since, from the looks of their mug shots, weren't dressed for really top notch nightclub partying). Unfortunately for them, the two couldn't wait to get the party started and got a jump on it as soon as they got their car from valet.

Paris, of course, is using the tried and true excuse that it wasn't her purse, which she used successfully in South Africa recently when busted for pot. This time, she was the only female in the car but, of course, she could have picked up someone else's purse when celebrating in the Wynn just prior to hooking up with the nosey Metro man. One thing that we're having trouble with is the fact that she knew right where the lip balm was located and was going to apply some to her lips. Would you use the lip balm out of a purse that wasn't yours? And what about I.D.s, credit cards, etc. that would certainly be in the purse. Did the purse really contain a bunch of items identifying a different owner? We'll see, as Paris is using it as her defense.

Another question that will soon be answered is what will Steve Wynn do with Cy Waits? Steve doesn't seem to be the most tolerant fellow, especially when it comes to something that might damage the reputation of his beloved properties. Ol' Steve has worked long and hard on building up the image of everything related to the Wynn brand so I gotta think there will be some fallout over this blunder.

It was so good to see him and his beautiful wife Crystal again.

We went and in and the first thing we noticed is that they have redecorated parts of the club. It looked fabulous. We saw our favorite server she gave us a big hug and kiss! We felt we were home again...We found a table and got settled in. All night long people were coming up to us introducing themselves and chatting. That is the one thing we love about this club is the friendliness!!!

Sean came by to chat and catch up with us. He told us the following:

Saturday Couples & single women

If you haven't checked out Forbidden you need too. You will love the party atmosphere and the friendliness of the club. Also there is a wide range of ages, size and shapes. Anything is a go there!!!!
