Respect! What does that really mean to some of us? To some people, it is only a word that they don’t even know the meaning of cause they don’t take the few seconds it takes to even think about it. To those who do take the time to think, it is the very foundation of beginning a friendship. Yes, I said it right. You must show respect if you even want people to even remotely think about contacting you when you send a private message indicating interest in someone. I have seen some examples of folks just going in with both barrels blasting and not even showing an ounce of respect when they are indicating interest in someone else’s profile. Instead they go blasting in like a sex crazed pervert and do not even try to initiate a decent conversation to try get to know the people behind the profile. Respect goes a very long way when you are trying to build a friendship. It is the very foundation on which friendships are started and built. You must respect a person’s wishes and boundaries if you even want to have a chance of them responding to your message. If they set boundaries in place in their profile, which you would know about if you even took the time to read it completely, all you need to do is respect those boundaries. If they set an age limit or a preference to couples only, or males only, or females only, respect that. When those of us who do not show that respect, go blasting in, pay no heed to what is said in a profile, it gives whoever posted the profile, a bad taste so to speak ,and they think bad about our beloved HTS site, a site for the making and continuing of awesome friendships, because some asshole decided not to read and offended someone. Henry and Katrina and many regular HTS members work really hard to keep our site clean. But there are some uncaring and disrespectful asses who slip thru the cracks. I believe that respect should be a prerequisite of continued enjoyment of the HTS website. If you show disrespect, you should be given a citation. Violate again and be banned. These are just some of my thoughts on the matter of respect. Any who wish to discuss the matter more privately, my contact info is in my profile. I wish all HTS members and guests an awesome day and week.

When anyone joins HTS Lifestyle you must agree to our Terms Of Service or TOS. Under Section Three (3) of the TOS is this requirement:
    Quote:
By becoming a member of HTS lifestyle.com you agree not to engage in any actions that is abusive, obscene, threatening, harassing, illegal, or infringes on the rights of others (including but not limited to privacy rights or copyrights of others).
We are not naive and know many don't read all of the TOS, so if you need to review what you've agreed to follow this link:THE HTS TERMS OF SERVICE

We urge anyone who encounters another member whom you believe does not follow this policy to report this person to one of the moderators or administrators. We can not see abusive Private Messages and my not read all posts so we depend upon others to report abusive messages or other members who are in violation of the TOS.
    Thanks
    Your HTS Lifestyle Team
