My honey and I checked out Radiance last night and were very disappointed. After checking out the web-site several times I really thought this was an upscale club. I guess what was so disappointing was the dress code was not enforced at all. Some of the women had shorts, t-shirt and flip flops. Some of the men had on jeans (unpressed)and muscle shirts. I also think there were several single men in the club. One would pull up a chair (even on the dance floor) to get a closer look at any action that was taking place. Any couples having fun, he made sure he was right there to watch. I thought he should have been made to leave. But on the upside the music was great and the place is big. Our waitress was excellent also. Too much fog. We couldn't see the other side of the dance floor because of all the fog. I don't want to offend anyone but for what it cost to get in I just thought it would be a little more upscale then that. Maybe it was just a bad night, but first impressions seem to stick with me. We now have a standard membership that will probably never get used. Oh, and one more thing, we were wearing our HTS pins and even put on our application that HTS was how we heard about the club and we didn't get our $5.00 off our membership fees. That sucks:ohwell:

Well Radiance is having one of it's best summers ever and Scott wants to welcome HTS Members in a big way!

Radiance already gives HTS Members wearing their HTS Hearts on Friday or Saturday nights $5 off the cover charge but this coming Saturday August 5, HTS Members wearing their Hearts will get $20 off the normal Saturday Cover.

Of course you will need your Radiance membership to enter the club but if you buy a new annual membership or renew a annual membership that night you will get 1/2 off the cover charge.. a $25 savings on Saturday night.

So if you want to save some $$$$ be sure to have your HTS Hearts On this weekend.

We are fairly new to this lifestyle and began going to clubs in downtown Houston. The first place we went to was Secrets, and it just wasn't what we were looking for.

Then we visited Encounters twice, about a month apart. The first time, no one even talked to us. The regulars had their own groups and they weren't interested in "newbies". The second time we went, we sat on one of the couches along the wall to just "people watch." There was no "reserve sign on the table, but after a few minutes, a couple came up to us and told us that we were in their seat and to get up and move. Well, we left after that.

Then we found Radiance and OMG, we found our home. First, the owners are great. They knew we were new, and gave us a tour of the club. they also introduced us to some of the Diamond members. We were invited to sit at people's tables and were never told to move. Quite the contrary, we wer told to move over and make room!

We have been going there since about Nov. '05, and we'll never go anywhere else. The monthly theme parties are great and the 80's nights are a blast.

My husband I and I haven't visited many clubs, and we haven't been out in over 2 years (he was deployed and then I had a baby) but we LOVE Radiance. Everyone there, from the owners to every single couple we came in contact with, was FUN and NICE.

We were new to the scene and everyone took us under their wings and answered any and all questions we had. It was very low pressure, we never felt uncomfortable with anyone there, and everyone seemed to be having a really good time. Within 2 hours, we felt like we had been going to that bar every week. The music was always great, the waitstaff was friendly, and we just had a good time.

Since this coming weekend is our first out since he has been home and I had a baby, we thought about trying out a new club in Houston, but finally decided that we would rather go where we know we'll have a good time, even if we don't meet anyone we are interested in playing with. And from what the website says, it looks like it has had some new stuff added in that I am excited about seeing.

It is a sad day when we start losing nice clubs like Radiance. We wish Kaylee and Scott all the best. We had some super times out their and we know that more good times will be along in the future for those two.

We also want to wish everyone who worked or played at Radiance the best and give them a word of encouragement. Times maybe tough now but they will get better.
